Continuous spring also called continuous coil or superlastic coil.
Continuous spring unit is a patented, continuous coil spring system combining high tensile, fine-wire technology with innovative design. Its unique manufacturing process provides production flexibility, productivity and consistent quality.
The high tensile steel wire used to produce continuous spring has no knots or sharp bends, generating more surface resiliency with built in durability. High unit coil counts allow better weight distribution and conformity to body shape.
Special interconnected rows of springs optimize durability and body support whilst eliminating side sway and roll together, plus alternating right and left hand coil turns add balance and consistency to the unit.
100% working wire, every part of continuous spring system increased surface area flexes.
Continuous coils Or Mira-coils, work by a hinging effect, similar to that of offset coils. In a basic sense a continuous coil is simply that, one continuous coil in an up and down fashion forming one row (usually from head to toe) of what appear to be individual coils. The advantages of how firm a support the continuous coil provides it is somewhat tempered with the "noise" associated from a typical Mira-coil unit.
